FERRANTI EFFECT
Capacitance effect is their in long and short transmission line , if no load or light load is connected on the receiving end of transmission line so line will get current from generating end and charge the distribution capacitors so as a result receiving end voltage will be higher than sending end known as ferranti effect
As we know inductance nad capacitance is uniformly distributed across the entire length if a wire
ferranti occurs when the current drawn by capacitors is greater than the load connected at the receiving end , As charging current of capacitor lead the voltage drop across inductor which is in phase with sending end voltage therefore the voltage at receiving end will be higher than sending end
