Dampers

Mostly in transmission system vibration came in line conductor due to
1. Wind pressure
2.Low frequency
3.High frequency
All these vibrations are not dangerous if their is specific spacing between conductors but these vibrations are very dangerous at clamp point (A point where conductor is tightened on insulator )
so dampers are used to absorb these vibrations
Stock Dampers 

The stock dampers connect on single line to absorb vibration of that specific single line , The weight of that stock dampers is about 7.5 kg while the connecting point should be near to clamp point (5 to 7 feet)

Spacer Dampers 

 In figure shown are the spacer dampers mainly they are used for bundle conductors their construction depends on number of bundle conductors
Advantages of spacer dampers are
1, they keep constant space between conductors
2.absorb vibrations
3.also used to prevent corona upto 750 KV

The last method is desi method put wooden stick between lines and its done ,Now their will be no vibrations on line
